Corporal 

The corporal is a rigid, folded, thick, square cotton shawl. During Holy Mass on the corporation a goblet with wine and a paten with the Host are placed, on which also Eucharistic figures remain. The corporal is placed under the monstrance of the exhibitions of the Blessed Sacrament. After the liturgy, the corporal folds in so that no crumbs of the Host fall out.
