Jubilees in the Catholic Church are special years of grace in which the faithful are invited to spiritual renewal, make pilgrimages, and can obtain a plenary indulgence by fulfilling certain conditions, such as confession, Holy Communion, praying for the intentions of the Pope, and visiting the four principal basilicas in Rome. Jubilees are a time for in-depth reflection on faith and spiritual renewal.
