Dalmatics is a kind of liturgical vestment intended for deacons. Deacon dalmatics are now rarely worn in ordinary parishes, where deacons are rare, but it is relatively easy to distinguish it from the chasuble: it is most often sewn or stapled on the side and has something like sleeves. Dalmatics is present in all liturgical colors.
