St. Agnes is portrayed in the iconography of lamb with a halo. It is also shown with two crowns - virginity and martyrdom. Sometimes a pile of fire burns beside it, according to one version it was to burn. Saint Agnes patrons gardeners, engaged, young couples, rape victims, virgins and scouts.
