She is the patron of nuns, women who are sincerely repentant, pupils and students, prisoners, misdirected, hairdressers, gardeners, vineyard owners, wine sellers, leaders, coopers, weavers, gloves, perfume and powder manufacturers, children with walking difficulties; is also called in case of eye diseases, worms, inclement weather.

The liturgical feast in the Catholic Church is celebrated on July 22.
