Copal is a resin used for the production of incense, in medicine, and today, as a natural fixative - in the production of varnishes. In the past it was considered a medicine for burns and headaches and stomach aches. When you incense, it releases an exotic forest-like, slightly lemon scent. It burns completely, leaving no trace on the coal.
